Our Dancing Digits Early Years programme helps little ones form happy, early connections with numbers and shapes before they start school. This early boost can lower the risk of maths anxiety – something the British Psychological Society says affects about a third of UK children aged 4 to 6.
Aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), and backed by a year-long study in Nottinghamshire schools with the Education Endowment Foundation, Dancing Digits gets children moving, thinking, and learning early maths in a way that’s active, creative – and fun!
Child-centred Learning
Children naturally love to move – and when you blend movement with maths, magic happens! In our lively, award-winning sessions, children will explore and practise early maths without even realising…
They’ll stamp, clap, jump, and vocalise maths concepts; practise counting and recall simple maths facts, make numerals with their body, perform rhythmic repeat patterns – all of which will help them build strong foundations and develop a positive mindset around maths.
Dancing Digits nursery and preschool classes fully support the EYFS framework and are a creative, impactful way to bring learning to life for the children in your setting.
